STONE MOUNTAIN CERTIFIED CITY OF ETHICS The Georgia Municipal Association has a program to recognize cities that have adopted principles and procedures that offer guidance on ethical issues, along with a mechanism to resolve complaints at the local level. The Mayor and City Council of Stone Mountain adopted a code of ethics meeting the standards of the GMA program to protect public interest by establishing appropriate ethical standards with respect to the conduct of the members of the governing authority in situations where a conflict may exist. On June 27, 2006 the Georgia Municipal Association designated the City of Stone Mountain a Certified City of Ethics. |
