The City of Stone Mountain contracts with SAFEbuilt Inc. to provide building inspection services. This company reviews plans for remodling and new construction to insure compliance with all applicable building codes. Please note that many of the buildings in Stone Mountain are located within the Historic District and are subject to additional restrictions. Please contact City Hall before you begin any construction. Failure to obtain a building permit can result not only in monetary penalities but could require you to remove the structure. |
