City of Stone Mountain

Stone Mountain Code Compliance is responsible for ensuring compliance with city codes and ordinances relating to the use of historic, commercial, public and private properties within the jurisdictional limits of the City of Stone Mountain.  The Compliance Officer investigates complaints including overgrown properties, inoperable/unregistered and unlicensed motor vehicles, debris and litter strewn properties, unsecured vacant structures, commercial and home businesses operating without having paid the required occupational taxes, illegal signage, storm water run-off, building permits, and other matters involving the code and ordinances of the City of Stone Mountain, GA.  The Compliance Officer also conducts searches of certain records to locate property owners, testifies in municipal court proceedings, and attends community sponsored meetings when invited.
